How much does a custody lawyer make and how bad are their hours normally?

I'm assuming you mean “custody” as in child custody. There are no set standard hours, especially if you are in business by yourself. If you get hired into a law firm, then the hours are whatver you make them out to be, but keep in mind that courts are open M-F, business hours. You put in as much time as it takes to get your case worked up. The more complex the case, the more hours you have to put in. You make however much you charge per hour, or per case.
